Ouch. According to ValleyWag, Yahoo employees invited to party right before being laid off in time for Christmas.
A tipster tells us that Yahoo plans to cut 3,500 jobs, chiefly in sales and finance, on December 10 — while keeping plans for a multimillion-dollar holiday party days before the cuts. (ValleyWag)
Hmmmm, let’s see. Would you rather be unemployed or worrying about the implications of a sweet Microsoft acquisition.
Also, it seems like acknowledging that sort of risk doesn’t bode well when you are trying to increase the price of the offer.
