MPC Computers in Nampa plans to layoff 210 employees - effective today.

The company sent its layoff notice to the Idaho Department of Labor Wednesday.

“MPC was unable to provide any advance notice of this action because there were unforeseeable business circumstances that led to this immediate reduction in workforce. MPC is unable to replace these services with another party at this time.”

MPC, which also laid off 80 employees in October, expects these layoffs to be permanent, and there are no bumping rights associated with this layoff. TV station KMEG in South Dakota reported today that 95 workers were laid off at MPC’s North Sioux City South Dakota facility. (2 News)
